Myroxilon - Tolu Balm

Myroxylon balsamum toluiferum H.B.K.

ACTIVE

cinnamic acid, benzoic acid and their esters, vanillin, essence

cinnamic acid, benzoic acid, terpenes, oleo resin, farnesol, eugenol.

USE

Fluidity of bronchial secretions. Balsamic effect. Well-being and trophism of mucous membranes, Bronchitis, Laryngitis.

Tolu balsamum is an oleoresin obtained from Myroxylon. Balsamum that grows in Panama and South America (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru). The cultivation is sustainable, in fact the resin is obtained by carving the bark of these large tropical trees and later distilled to obtain the balsam known as Tolu balsam. It is also used as a urinary tract antiseptic.
