Vitis vinfera

VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY, HEMORRHOIDS, ANTIOXIDANT, PROANTHOCYANIDINS, RESVERATROL, LEG CIRCULATION

Vitis vinifera is a woody, deciduous climbing plant with large characteristic leaves. Its fruit has been used in folk medicine for proven biological activities since ancient times while the plant's leaves, with astringent and hemostatic properties, were used in the treatment of diarrhea, bleeding, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, inflammatory disorder, pain, and hepatitis.

Thanks to an increasing number of in vivo and in vitro studies conducted on the active ingredients extracted from the leaves in recent decades, various biological activities including hepatoprotective, spasmolytic, hypoglycemic, vaso-tonic, and vaso-relaxant effects have been confirmed. The use of new technologies applied to stem cells has highlighted their therapeutic profiles.
